Signature Glow Facial.

Our most requested treatment. Seventy-five minutes that begin with a proper look at your skin and end with a facial massage most guests remember longer than the mask.

About This Treatment

The Signature Glow Facial is our answer to skin that looks tired rather than troubled — dull after a long stretch of work, dehydrated after travel, or simply overdue some attention. It is not a clinical procedure and it does not claim to be one. It is a very good facial, done slowly.

We begin under proper light with a short skin consultation, then double cleanse and gently resurface using a lactic acid preparation chosen for your tolerance. A nourishing mask follows, and while it works, your therapist spends fifteen uninterrupted minutes on the face, neck and shoulders. We close with serum, moisturiser and SPF.

Benefits

  • Deep hydration — skin feels comfortable and plump rather than tight.
  • Improved texture — the gentle resurfacing step smooths the surface without stripping it.
  • Brighter appearance — a visible lift in tone that typically holds for a week or two.
  • Relaxing facial massage — fifteen minutes of it, which is where most of the tension leaves.

This is a cosmetic treatment. It is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical skin condition, and we will happily refer you to a dermatologist if that would serve you better.

What to Expect

Arrive ten minutes early. You will be shown to the lounge with a cup of tea, then into a private suite where you can undress to the waist and lie under a warm blanket. You keep your own clothing below the waist. The room is quiet, dimly lit, and no one will talk to you unless you want to talk.

Pressure, room temperature and music are all yours to change at any point. Simply say so.

Treatment Process

  1. 01 · Consultation (10 min)
Skin assessment under proper light, plus a short conversation about products, sensitivities and what you want from the session.
  2. 02 · Double cleanse (10 min)
An oil cleanse followed by a gel cleanse, plus a warm compress.
  3. 03 · Gentle resurfacing (10 min)
A lactic acid preparation at a strength matched to your skin, closely monitored.
  4. 04 · Mask & massage (25 min)
A nourishing mask, with an extended face, neck, shoulder and scalp massage while it works.
  5. 05 · Finish (10 min)
Serum, moisturiser, eye cream and SPF, then a few minutes to come back to the room in your own time.

Who Is It For?

Good for most skin types, and particularly for skin that feels dehydrated, dull or uneven. It is a sensible choice before an event, provided you book at least a week ahead rather than the day before.

We would suggest something else if you are currently using prescription retinoids or acid treatments, have active eczema or rosacea flares, or have had a professional peel in the last fortnight. Tell us at booking and we will steer you towards the Calming Sensitive Facial instead.

Aftercare

  • Leave skin bare for the rest of the day if your plans allow.
  • Skip retinoids, acids and physical scrubs for 48 hours.
  • Wear SPF the following day, even if you are mostly indoors.
  • Avoid steam rooms, saunas and hot yoga for 24 hours.
  • Drink water, and expect the best of the result on day two or three.
Questions

Before You Book

Most guests book it every four to six weeks. Your therapist will suggest an interval based on how your skin responds rather than a fixed schedule — and will say so if you do not need to come back that often.

A little warmth or pinkness for an hour or two is normal, particularly after the massage. It settles quickly. If your skin flushes easily, tell your therapist and the resurfacing step can be softened or skipped entirely.

You can, and we keep a small selection at the desk if you are heading straight out. Bare skin for the rest of the day is better if your plans allow it.

Often yes, with adjustments. If your skin is highly reactive we may recommend the Calming Sensitive Facial instead. Your therapist will decide with you at consultation, before anything is applied.

Yes — book it seven to fourteen days ahead rather than the day before, so skin has time to settle. See our bridal programme if the event is a wedding.
